Ovarian cancer is difficult to detect early because symptoms are vague and are often mistaken for less serious conditions. As a result, many women do not learn of their diagnosis until the disease is advanced, when treatment options are more limited.

Before Evident, no reliable screening test existed to help postmenopausal women take the proactive step of pursuing early detection and managing their ovarian cancer risk.

Early detection is essential to having the best options for treatment and survival.
